Traps alone don't work if the entry points stay open — our Ladysmith, WI crew seals the building envelope while removing what's already inside. Beyond droppings and noise, chewed wiring and insulation damage are real risks we flag during every inspection.
Rodent control here means construction-grade exclusion: hardware cloth, sealant, and door sweeps, applied by trained techs.
Rodent calls in Ladysmith, WI get same-day or next-day dispatch, especially where droppings or gnaw marks suggest an active population.
The inspection determines a fixed price for trapping and exclusion work before anything is installed.
Our trucks stock exclusion-grade hardware cloth, rodent-proof sealant, and attic sanitizing agents, not just consumer traps. Each exclusion job comes with before-and-after documentation of the sealed gaps, so you know exactly what was done and where.
Norway rats burrow at grade, so we focus on foundation perimeters, deck footings, and crawl space vents.
We trace roof rat entry to soffit vents and roofline gaps, sealing those before setting attic traps.
Mice need only a quarter-inch opening — we inspect utility penetrations, door sweeps, and foundation cracks for entry points.
After removal, we clean contaminated insulation and sanitize affected areas per industry biohazard handling standards.
Exclusion work means permanent barriers — not just trap removal — so rodents can't simply come back through the same gap.
Scheduled monitoring and bait station servicing for property managers needing ongoing compliance documentation.
Describe the noise pattern and any visible signs; that helps us bring the right trap and exclusion materials.
We show up prepared to both trap and seal, so there's no separate follow-up trip just to bring supplies.
The inspection identifies both the rodent species and every access point, from foundation cracks to roofline gaps.
You get trapping, exclusion, and a documented follow-up — not just traps left behind with no return visit.

We dispatch Ladysmith, WI technicians throughout Ladysmith and neighboring areas, with particular attention to older homes and properties near wooded lots where rodent pressure tends to run higher. Properties in Ladysmith near open fields or construction sites tend to see rodent pressure spike seasonally, so we plan technician routes with that pattern in mind.
Gnaw marks, dropping size, and even the sound of movement in walls all help distinguish rats from mice — the technician will confirm on inspection.
Trapping handles what's inside now; sealing is what keeps new rodents from replacing them.
We'd recommend waiting — disturbed rodent droppings can aerosolize particles, and our technicians use proper PPE and sanitizing agents for safe cleanup.
Most single-family homes take one visit for trapping and sealing, with a follow-up 1-2 weeks later to confirm no new activity.
Snap traps and sealing come first; bait stations are reserved for specific situations like commercial perimeter control.
Pet food left out, compost piles, and gaps around utility lines are frequent culprits we flag during inspection. It's also worth checking your attic access panel and garage door seal periodically, since those are common secondary entry points we find during follow-ups.
